Biography

Claire-Chung Lim is a versatile musician with expertise in chamber music. She recently won several awards from chamber music competitions, including Sion International Duo Competition 2014 and American Prize 2016. Her performances were broadcast on Suisse–Espace 2 in Switzerland and WCRB in Boston, and have been featured several times in The Strad magazine and The Boston Globe. Lim has served as a collaborative pianist and associate faculty member at Tanglewood Music Festival, Music Academy of the West, Heifetz International Music Institute, Banff Centre, Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, and Killington Music Festival. She was a full scholarship recipient from Seoul National University (B.A.), New England Conservatory of Music (dual master’s degrees in solo and collaborative piano), and Boston University (D.M.A.), and graduated summa cum laude with other honors. She previously served as staff and faculty at the New England Conservatory and New England Conservatory Preparatory School.
