Nicholas Roseth previously taught instrumental and secondary general music in Colorado. He was also program coordinator of Young Winds, student teacher supervisor, and associate instructor at Indiana University. He has received awards for excellence in teaching from the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association Society for Music Teacher Education and the Education Foundation for the St. Vrain Valley. His primary research interests include LGBTQ studies, music teacher education, educational policy, and nonverbal behaviors in teaching and learning. He has presented research and pedagogical sessions at regional and national conferences, and has research published in the Journal of Music Teacher Education and the Journal of Research in Music Education. Roseth earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Susquehanna University, Master of Music Education degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, and Doctor of Philosophy degree from Indiana University.
