Professor of Music (Trombone)

Trombonist Peter Ellefson performs frequently with the Chicago Symphony and the New York Philharmonic. In chamber music settings he has performed with the Canadian Brass, Proteus 7, Chicago Chamber Musicians and the New York Philharmonic Brass Quintet. A member of the Seattle Symphony for 10 years, Ellefson performed and recorded on alto and tenor trombone, bass trumpet, and tenor tuba, while also serving as the principal trombonist for Seattle Opera's numerous productions of Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen.   Biography >>
