Bursar Billing option now available at IU Musical Arts Center for students
Just in time for IU Opera Theater's Puccini double-bill, the Musical Arts Center has announced that IU students are invited to purchase tickets by billing their bursar account. The service expands payment options available to students when they visit the Box Office in person.
To benefit from this service, IU students with a valid ID will be required to purchase seats at the Box Office before 5:30 p.m. Prepared tickets will then be available from the box office the following business day or at the Will Call window on the night of performance.
The bursar-billing was introduced in anticipation of Giacomo Puccini's one-act operas "Suor Angelica" and "Gianni Schicchi" - a perfect double-bill for those interested in sampling opera for the first time: the works are in turn achingly beautiful and very funny. With stage direction from James Marvel and music direction from IU alumnus Andrew Altenbach, the IU Opera Theater production promises to be a world-class experience!
