Biography
Alan de Veritch was a student of William Primrose and has performed throughout the United States and Europe and as a soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Washington National Symphony, and the Philadelphia Orchestra.
He actively records in Hollywood and has performed on many major motion picture soundtracks and television productions. He was a faculty member at the California Institute of the Arts, Biola University, California State University at Northridge, and the University of Southern California, and is an immediate past president of the American Viola Society.
Professor de Veritch was principal violist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and guest principal violist of the New York Philharmonic.
