Helga Winold has performed throughout the United States, Canada, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, and Spain, and as a soloist with the Munich Philharmonic, North German Philharmonic, and other orchestras.

She has taught clinics in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Professor Winold's research interest is in movement analysis in string playing.
