Christopher Young performs recitals through the U.S. and has been heard on National Public Radio's PipeDreams.

He won the American Guild of Organists National Young Artists Competition in Organ Performance and the Arthur Poister Competition, both in 1988.

Professor Young is former co-director of the the Young Organists Cooperative and was visiting instructor of organ, piano, and music theory at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minnesota. He is former organist of the First Presbyterian Church in Rochester New York.

Professor Young has recorded on the Pro Organo label.
